Only i more week to go before we set off for camping du letty,and another question what is the speed limit with the van on in france(i won't be going over 60mph but is that ok),we will be on motorway and main roads,ta andrew+nicola

You don't say what the gross train weight of your outfit is. If it's under 3.5 tonnes, the speed limit on motorways under dry conditions is 130km/h. On dual carriageways it is 110km/h and 90km/h elsewhere outside built-up areas. When it's raining, the respective limits are 110km/h, 100km/h and 80km/h.

If the gross train weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes, the respective limits are 90km/h, 80km/h and 80km/h.
