Sprite alpine battery locker

Hi all

Looking at changing my van in the near future, been to see a sprite alpine 4 (2013) today, and noticed the battery box looked really small!
Anyone own the alpine 4? Is the battery box as small as it looks? I’m thinking there’s no way my 115ah Halfords battery will fit!

I’ve got a Sprite same model battery box with 100 ah Yuasa battery fitted. It’s snug but room for cables etc. Try measuring battery and box.

As you cannot get to the van this week, can you contact the seller and ask them to measure for you?

When I bought my van at the end of last year, I wanted a 115ah battery to be fitted.
Try as the engineer did, it would not fit
The largest we could get in was a 105ah model. the battery compartment on the newer wsifts is very tight indeed, to be honest, i watched the young lad (caravan engineer?) pull and try and force the cables etc to fit then asked if I could have a go, with careful routing it all went in.

My van will not be back tomorrow so can’t help on measurements. If you do buy the caravan check your noseweight before heading home. Unloaded with no fluids and one 10kg gas bottle and spare wheel in locker mine comes in around 95kg.

Ring Swift. I wanted the battery box dimensions for an Elddis van. The very helpful lady at Elddis emailed me the schematic.
