Squealing brakes is one of th edownfalls of not being able to use asbestos in the lining material.
They now have sintered metal, which in warm weather will squeal.
Were the brakes deglazed during service , or just cleaned ?

hi henry
i have the very same van and my brakes also squeal, i was thinking of stripping the drums off and taking a look usually its build up of dust and glazed surface of shoes and linings, if i get around to mine i will use a peice of emery on the 2 surfaces and rough them up a bit, other than that cant see what else it can be, had my van 2 years now and has always sqealed

will get around to it one day.just remember that if you take the hubs off the alko one shot hub nuts will need to be replaced, they are cheap enough on ebay.

I don't know if this helps but if my breaks on the car squeal I file the leading edge of the pad or shoe.
I did do it with an old Volvo once and it worked but I must add it only made the sound when breaking.
A caravan may be a different kettle of fish.
