Very nice site, you will not be dissapointed.

Stayed there a long time ago, and have tried to get back since but is always full in the Hols and has become too expensive for me.

Very nicely maintained, good pool and terrace, bar and takeaway are handy. Tennis courts.

There is a good bit of space for footie and kites etc ajoining from the site.

It is possible to walk into St Ives, or there is a bus at the entrance. better than trying to use the car as St Ives is a nightmare by car.

Hope you don't have a dog! That part of Cornwall is very dog Unfreindly and there are virtually no decent beaches available to dog owners.

Good centre for getting to other places such as Lizard, Lands end, Penzance and some of the North coast up to Nequay.

We went to Polmanter last year for 2 weeks and booked again for this year while we were there.

Weather was awful - rained 11 days out of 14 and we were in a tent. Bought a caravan when we returned. The site drains really well and considering all the rain the toilets and showers were immaculate.

We've got 2 boys, 9 and 7, they loved the pool but it was too chilly for me so OH got the pleasure of taking them in.

Food in bar is nothing to write home about and there are some really nice pubs within a short drive of site anyway.

We regularly walked into St Ives which is all downhill from the site - took about 30 mins with kids and we got the bus back.

We ended up spending a lot on entertainment because of the weather but that was not the site's fault. The staff were fantastic in reception - they were happy to look things up on the internet for you or you can pay to use a computer and surf yourself.

The only thing I am worrying about this year is access as you turn right on a blind bend to get to the site and there are cars parked along the road. I remember commenting to OH last year about how all the 'vans got in but they obviously did and this year we will find out how.

Also - no scooters on site which I think is great. Bikes are allowed. Find out which pitch you are on and you can look it up on their website.

You'll have a great time!!
