Can anyone help please? I have an Anker quick release stabiliser mark 2 which I cant use as there is a loud bang and it comes off the towbar slot whenever I turn right. My sister has tried with no luck and she has been towing ror years. I dont have instructions for it.I have been towing without a stabiliser but having read about snaking etc on this forum I thought I should use one.
 
You need to make sure the stabiliser blade fits flat on the caravan bracket along the brackets full length. If its only resting on the front or back edge of the bracket you will get the problems you described.

The cup that the arm fits into may not be level , i suspect when it was fitted the bolts have been over tightened resulting in a lop sided cup the the arm jumps out of
