On Friday when we arrived at the site for the weekend, when I went to disconnect the van I noticed that the stabiliser wasn’t all the way down !!
It was raised about 6 inches !!
Now the track up to the site was really bumpy would this have caused this.?
Or what would cause this.? Is this dangerous
Thanks for any help …

My feeling is that it had not been pushed down fully. Ours is so stiff that no bump has ever caused it to move. Possibly the best bet is to hitch it up again and try it over a few bumps to see if it happens again.

i would have another go with the stabiliser and push it further down. Mine is so stiff no bump has made it move so far and then see if it does again over a few bumps .

I doubt that a bumpy lane would cause this, its more likely to be that the lever wasn't down properly or the side friction pads need to be adjusted with shims or possibly renewing.

I’ve had someone tell me that I may have the wrong tow ball on my car and I need a long neck tow bar?
would this stop it.
