Stackapads

Afternoon All,

To level up a van has anyone or no of anyone that has used stackpads to do this once the levellers are under the wheels. I have noticed on many rally's i have been on with my local centre that they tend to use wood? is wood safer that teh stackpads?

Thanks

Rob.

are these the same as the jack pads you get from towsure?

if so I've got some and have no problems using them. Only had to use them a couple of times and they seem fine.

Hi Roger,

Yes they are the same as what you get from towsure. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi - I use stackapads all the time under the corner steadies. I used to carry lots of wood pieces which did just the same job but were a lot heavier to carry around and do not "lock together" like the stackapads

I still carry just a couple of squares of wood for emergency.

I use Stackapads and have done for some time. They are lighter than wood and as mentioned do lock together. They are also easy to clean. I also have the same make of Jackpads that are deigned to fit with the Stackapads which make it a more stable operation. However I still carry some 5" x 1 " blanks to go under the Jackpads if the ground is soft to spread the load a little.

Like David I keep a set of stackapads for use if it is just the question of distance to ground in good weather conditions but still keep a couple of pieces of wood in the front locker for spreading the load in wet conditions or for use under jockey wheel in some situations.
