Starcamp Magnum 260 Porch Awning

Hello there, we find that this awning is good value for money. We have used it twice and still can't get the side walls to lay against the caravan sides !!! The first time the ground sloped up slightly, and the second time the ground sloped down (but not much) Is there a secret to the ssequence of putting it up? Any advice would be welcome. I can get one side flush but not the other.
