Status 315 to 530/10

Hi all...just wondered how easy it was to replace a status 315 aerial with a 530/10 model?

If it "fits" its a easy job.

For the 530/10 you need both room for the shaft to come down and the shaft needs to be a specific distance from a "wall" asit has a lower steadying bracket.

The 530/5 having the shorter tube does not have this lower steadying bracket so finding a location is easier.

The only difficult bit is having the courage to make that 45mm [approx] hole in the roof. Doing it with a tubular saw bladed hole cutter is easy; its the courage bit thats hard.
