There are some storage ares around Yate and I believe around Trowbridge, have you thought about trying to get a permanent pitch at Newton Mill or Bath Marina - it might be worth it.

There is a storage place near Trowbridge, and some of the farms do storage. We store our van on a farm near Melksham. Not sure which side of bath you are on but it might be worth asking some of the local farms. We found out about the one we use from someone at Hubbys work. As far as I know they never advertise, all done through word of mouth.

Hi thanks for you reply's...

We do actually store the van in HOLT which is near melksham and have done for 5 years, but have recently moved house to the opposite side of bath and was just testing the water to see if there were any closer to home.... Might go for a drive over the weekend and meet some nice farmer's lol!!

thanks again

we store our caravan at Hullavington airfield which is located immediately off junction 17 of the M4.

The company is called Space Contained and the storage is inside a nice dry bomb proof! aircraft hangar which is very dry, very secure and well looked after. they store classic cars and vehicles of all sorts . sometimes there is a Douglas Dakota transport complete with D-Day markings spreading its wings over the caravans! If it is any help their 'phone number is:01666-838888, fax: 01666838777

M&M. Have a look at Google mapping, or similar, then go to the satellite image for the area you are interested in. Caravan storage sites show up clearly. I was surprised to find so many and so extensive that I had never suspected existed whilst browsing around my local area.

When I first read that post I had visions of a BATH in a caravan. That would make it huge, and might take a few aquarolls to fill it :)

Sorry M&M :)

Not such a daft idea Rubix. Any caravan exhibition I have been to always seems to have an area devoted to whirlpool/hydrojet baths and electrically powered rise and fall beds. Think of what that would do to your M.T.P.L.M !!
