we have been having on & off problems with our small gas burner on our hob.It used to stay lit but now doesn't even to that.We have replaced the thermocouple but no joy.Stoves won't give us any more info to what the problem is unless we pay £140 for an engineer plus parts.Sorry but we haven't got that sort of money at the moement.Has anyone had the same problem or any ideas to our problem?

The reason I asked is that we had problems with our Sinflo in our Baileys Pagaent Burgundy S7.

Rectified the problem at a local dealers near us, the jets was to far away from the gas, hence the gas would get out and eventually go out. New screws had to be made to make the gap smaller.

Spinflo came out to us and changed something (sorry cannot remember what it was) but it did not resolve the problem.

My local dealer new what the problem was due to it being a problem on a previous spec.

Hope you find the problem soon.

Hello Denise,

There could be a number of reason for your difficulty. It could be the appliance, the pipe work, the regulator, or the type of gas and the temperature. Without actually inspecting the appliance and the gas system it is almost impossible to provide a pinpoint answer through a forum.

As this may need the appliance or some of the fixed pipe work to be disconnected you must refer the work to a competent fitter.

I assume that the cooker is not covered by any warranty, so you will have to pay for who ever deals with it. I strongly suggest that you arrange to have the whole gas system checked by your local caravan dealership. It should not be as much as
