Lord B. I have certainly mellowed with age - yes I do agree that in my former days I might have been a little risque but now I am getting fed up with all the smut. If I had my way the TV and Sky would be out of the house - I watch very little TV these days. Even the news is boring nowadays. Regarding my elevation to a motorhome I feel I am now socialising with a more elite section of society and when out and about in said motorhome I look down on you serfs towing a tin box

.

Serious now there has been a drastic increase in crudity on TV etc., over the past twelve/eighteen months and it is now creeping in before the 9:00pm watershed. One programme I do watch and enjoy the offbeat sense of humour is "The Big Bang Theorey" on at 6:00pm (typical American humour but funny without being smutty - Channel 28 on Freeview).

I find your comments quite noble and have of course always respected your Welsh humour.
It's interesting to think where light hearted banter becomes smut. I'm no expert.
However , even though you have risen to the great heights of the motorhome , but in recognition of all your previous excellent posts over the years I and my fellow Knights , and Dame , cordially invite you to join our Woosie Round Table. If you accept you will henceforth be known as Sir Colin.

One of our other Knights or Dame will "second" you shortly.
Just on a general point, do you find the motorhome as comfortable and warm as the caravan?

Sir DD I would have to abstain on this one, although a nice chap dont think he would laugh reading the joke books on the Woosie Pot

Having worked in colo-rectal theatres for many years I too have had quite enough of poo, and talk of poo.

I have since moved to Ear Nose and Throat theatres, having briefly considered a career in gynaecology, but decided on ENT as there are more openings.

Ah, but Sir Kev;
He reads more Dylan Thomas on the porcelain than anywhere else. This clearly gives him more inspiration that us less mortal Woosies enjoy.
He's been on here a long time although I must say he has deserted us to motorhomes.
As an aside , some 40 years ago we were on a pretty ropey site at Goodrington with my parents. All the toilets ceramic bases had writtem upon their base. "Do not knaw wood whilst straining" signed WJ Caunter site owner.

As a Founder Woosie Member I will be guided by you Sir Kev.

DD please accept my sincere apologies for insulting you by calling you Sir, we all know you are the King of the Woosie's.
As Colin has been here for such a long time, I am willing to allow membership provided he is seconded by a third member.
We shall await the vote.

Can you remember the name of the site in Goodrington, just wondered if it was still operating as it's quite local to me.

Just a quick 'thanks' to Parksy and Beehpee for your comments - only just noticed this thread and it explains the spike in traffic I saw on the blog a few weeks ago. As for the rest, best avoid my site then as although it's not the major topic of discussion, the waste antics of caravan life has myself and Margo chuckling away most times as to a newbie caravanner caravanning is a whole new, and enjoyable, world :)

I enjoy reading your blog Shirker, I see that you've added to it since my last visit.
I've added a few supplementary observations to my original comment on your earlier outing, if you were a caravanist monk seeking the path of enlightenment and you saw David Caradines portrayal of a young novice in the 1970s Kung Fu television series just think of me as the (appropriately named in this case) Master Po, that blind shaman who kept calling David Caradine 'Glasshopper'.

It's a long story but I wanted to get rid of the old avatar so I swapped it for something else.
