Stratford upon avon

Hi, can anybody recomend a site in or arund Stratford upon avon, for a week in September next year??

It depends on what you like I guess but my money would be on Riverside CP at Tiddington .It is about 1 mile from the centre of Stratford (easy walk) and they do at times run a boat taxi from the site.Obviously it is alongside the river,the toilet block has underfloor heating,and the village pub does good food.Charlecote park is just down the road.

Others might be Dodwell Park or The Ranch at Honeybourne.

kevin it depends what you want. harbury fields farm is nice. it was a cl its more of an affiliated site now it now. very nice toilet blocks. check out the reviews on www.ukcampsite.co.uk. it not far from stratford you would have to drive.

reasonably priced aswell.

its www.harburyfields.co.uk and its 11 miles from stratford but you are near leamington, warwick, kenilworth and coventry.

Hi Trucker

There ae 3 sites around stratord. The one on the tiddington rd just across the bridge, you also have the racecurse on evesham rd they have heated toilets and showers.

There's also one in Bidford on Avon just across the bridge in Barton.

Trucker/Jo anne have a look at my review and pics of harbury fields on www.carryoncamping.org its a nice site but not as convenient for a pub or Stratford as Riveride CP

Trucker if you go to Riverside then you will meet Margaret in reception she is a bit of a character.try the pub down the road for good food at good prices.There is a huge market nearby at Wellesbourne and all the delights of Stratford close by
