I KNOW THAT THESE DONT SEAL DOWN THE SIDE OF YOUR VAN BUT THAT DONT CONCERN ME TO MUCH , IM AFTER SOMETHING WITH GOOD SPACE (390 TOO BIG ) EASY TO PUT UP (AROUND 15 MINS) LIGHT WEIGHT AND CHEAP , I CAN GET ONE FOR £134.00 .THEIR IS PLENTY IF LIGHT IN TO THEM AND IT WONT BE USED AS A FULL AWNING AS IN SITTING IN TO WATCH TV ETC . IT WILL BASICALLY BE SOMEWHERE DRY BEFORE ENTERING OUR VAN WHEN WET (WHICH IS MOST OF THE TIME)AND TO PUT MAYBE A SMALL TABLE, SO ITS GOT TO BE A VERY GOOD ARGUMENT TO STOP ME BUYING ONE, ALL COMMENTS WELCOME ...GOOD OR BAD

Hi Glen,

i`ve got one and it`s generally good but can be difficult to get poles into their ends if you are on sloping ground(first time i used it a chap came over to me and asked what he had done wrong with his because he had exactly the same awning and the same problem!!)It`s almost as if the poles were too long to fit, having said that last time i used it it was fine so i think it is very sensitive to the slope of the land. Also on it`s first outing it rained and in the morning there was a huge lake on top because the water did not drain well enough. It all depends on the height of your awning rail ...the higher the better and if you pitch with the van on higher ground to the awning you should be fine.Dave.
