sunncamp solara height

can anyone advise me if I could use this porch on my pageant Bordeaux. The max height of my van is 2.7m and strictly speaking the solara is advertised for vans up to 2.5m. would I get away with it? Has anyone used these together?

Forgot to say my reasoning is that the manufacturers max height probably includes the useless omnidirectional arial!!!!

Had the same dilema a little while ago coincidentally with a Suncamp and a 1yr old Bailey although different models.

In the end I concluded that the only measurement of any consequence is ground to Awning channel as the bits sticking up above the caravan must vary so much and are not relevant to the fitting of an awning.

So I got the tape measure out and measured. And all ended happily ever after.
