Suzuki Grand Vitara 12S electrics help

Hi can any one help me please, just got 02 Vitara (5 door) and need some help with wiring the supplementry socket in to the car electrics so any advice or help would be greeted with many thanks

Hi Nick

How old is your caravan? If it's older than 1999 then the wiring is diferent.

Assuming it is post 1999 the red cable is for the Fridge and must be ignition controlled through a relay. The Yellow cable is for the reversing lights and the green cable is for permanent power. I have wired the green cable directly onto the battery on my GV and put in a 20A inline fuse it all works for me.
