The fusible link description is swans name for it, when we had a prestige it was called the safety valve i think.
The swan is 5 years old, and made of stainless steel, on the new ones it looks exactly the same, it is NOT the weight in the middle, but the round device of centre, secure with a nut on the inside of the lid.
Stainless is recommended for the electric hob we have at home, and use in the caravan.
I have phoned a number provided with the instruction book, and left a message, but as yet no one has got back to me.
No website is shown in the book.
The swan has been really good still on its original "o" ring, the reason the link has overheated is her indoors filled it up too much.
There is no model number with the instruction book, but on the base of the cooker CW914 capacity 4 lit.
