Swift Challenger 620 2009

Hi to all, can anyone advice me where the removable water filter is on this model i have been through all the books but cannot locate it, after reading so many posts on here about these freezing up over the colder months i am concerned about this happening,

Regards Terry

Hi Terrence,

While Metz is correct, we do not use carbon type removable filters, there is a mesh filter, on the inlet side of the pump. During winterisation, we advise that the inlet and outlet pipes of the pump are removed, and the pump is run dry for a short time.

You can also remove this mesh filter, to ensure no water is trapped inside the housing, although running the pump dry should remove any water trapped in the filter.

Thanks,

Ash
