Hi, I have just picked up our new 540 Conqueror and have noticed that all of the grey plastic surrounds to the locker doors have white patchy stains on them.Swindon Caravans have tried to remove these marks without success, and it would appear that swift are not being very helpful. They have now contacted Thetford to see if they can help, Has anybody come across this before or know of a product that can clean this off as I currently have a one day old caravan that looks as if it is 2 years old any suggestions please.

Hi Andy and John,

Yes I have the exact same problem on the cassette door on the infamous Conqueror 530 2009. (Andy will know the dealer concerned)

It looks like car polish has dried in the surface of the grey plastic moulding. Have tried to remove it but nothing works. Problem unresolved as yet.

Hi John,

Just to add to Andy's post : We have been in contact with your dealer, who submitted an enquiry on your behalf.

We have requested photos of the issue, to discuss internally and pass onto Thetford for their view / comments.

I will come back you and your dealer once I have more information.

Thanks,

Ash

HI James,

I spoke to a guy who I know who has been valeting cars for many years and he suggested I use Autoglym bumper cleaner (liquid)

and it appears to have done the trick. Although I will have to see how long it lasts, but at the moment it looks like its supposed to. hope this helps.

Cheers

John.

Hi James, I spoke to a guy who I know who has been valeting cars for many years, he suggested I try "Autoglym Liquid Bumper Cleaner" and this appears to have done the trick. Although how long this will last only time will tell. At the moment I have a new caravan looking as it should do! Hope this helps.

Cheers John
