Swift Group please answer

2009 Swift Challenger £18000+ can some one please tell me why on earth you supply a spare wheel but there is apparantly no jack supplied , contacted my dealer and they tell me this is correct....however on lesser models you supply a jack, i was not informed until i required this item and this has caused me great problems..........its like supplying a jack for a mini but not a rolce royce, i would appreciate your feed back, also told the jack is almost £100.00

Regards Terry

Hi Terry

The jack I got was a joke . It couldn't lift a fly.

Mine was a scissor jack and I challenged Al-ko to show me how it works! Unless you are Popeye, no chance.

Buy a hydraulic jack from Machine Mart, Halfords , Lidl etc. Easy. Just make sure your chassis is fitted with the correct jack support plates.

May I also suggest you post your gripe on the new Swift Talk site.

Cheers

Hi Terrence

I agree with Dustydog, have a Bessacarr made by Swift and this supplied with an ALKO scissor jack that will not lift the caravan ( unless you are Popeye!!!). The best option is to get an hydraulic jack

Happy Caravanning
