Anyone had a shock trying to buy spare parts for there van,I have an Abbey Spectrum 535 2008 model ,last weekend one of my grandchildren damaged the small cupboard door under the cooker ,this is a flat square edged wood door approx 500mm x 260mm x 15mm thick , not a elaborate curved framed door like all the top cupboards, on contacting the dealer they said that Swifts price for a new door would be £76.99 + vat , DO SWIFT ACTUALLY WANT US TO BUY THERE SPARES !!!!!, as anyone else had this sort of problem

hi all

maybe a search around the internet for caravan breakers might be in order

you never know your luck, you might think your van is fairly new and breakers will not have one like yours in...........but accidents do happen all the time and maybe one like yours may have just been damaged and scrapped

i know its not the same but i found a gearbox off a car that way,the guy i talked to said he had not seen my type of car in 2yrs and in the week i contacted him he had 2 in

anyway its worth a try,you might stike lucky
