Swiss motorway fees

The vignettes as they are called are now £28.50 Each, as you need two, one for the car and one for the caravan.I used to look on Ebay but people seem to get carried away and there seems to be no saving doing it that way.
Now In theory if you are good with a map and are willing to lose some time, it is possible to cross or move around most of Switzerland without using the M/ways and therefore not need the vignettes. But it wouldn't be easy....

I tried it through Austria once and it added hours to my journey so much so that we arrived at our site when it was closed.
The scenery we encountered by not using the motorway was outstanding but the cost in time and fuel far outweighed the cost of a motorway vignette

Sent off for mine few weeks ago ready for August as it saves the hassle on entering Switzerland.Cost was 25.50 x2 = 51.00 and add to that 3.50 booking fee total 54.50.
