I have seen a Tabbert caravan, it seems quite cheap, has anyone got any views on such a make. Also big twin axle Hobby's seem to be ok priced, has anyone got any views on this good/bad.

thanks

Hi

We've just got back from Belgium.

The site was full to bursting with Tabberts. The real eye-catcher is the Da Vinci, a huge twin wheeler. Looks very stylish indeed. We were very envious.

Hi Greg. If you have seen a very cheap Tabbert it is probably a "dry" 'van, meaning there is no washroom, or even a kitchen sink. A lot of Hobbys, LMCs, etc are the same. Most of the larger models are cheap enough anyway because there they incur no VAT when new, and there are some strange towing laws regarding 8' wide models. Also be aware that most have no 12v backup system so if you don't have a mains hook up nothing works. Having said that, there is not a British caravan in production which can match the Tabbert for quality.
