H i just got a tec caravan but every time we try to put water heater on it trips our electric we have been caravaning for over 30 years my husband know quite a lot about caravans but we have no books with caravan and can not find any circuit information for caravan online can any help thanks Pam & Andy x

From your description it would point to a failed heater element.
