Hi and happy new year to everyone, I have been looking at porch awnings for weekend use or short stays, for longer stops we use our Isabella, I have seen the Techlite 1 porch awning for about £119-00, is anyone using this awning? Is it any good? I have the PDQ porch awning that`s ok not very big but not keen on the posts that pack away with it as they leave rust marks on the material, I only used it once tho now its in the shed.

Yes, we've got one. It is a good size (table, two chairs and assorted other stuff) and as it has only one pole is really quick to put up. Ours survived the wet of last summer without leaking. I wouldn't leave it up if it was very blowy though. As it has only one pole the skin is not as taut as one might like and its a bit wrinkly, (bit like me). We've never travelled with it on the van and take the bag off the awning rail to roll the canvas in. Rollong it up on the rail would be seriously hard work.

Thanks Mel I did roll up the pdq not to bad as I have a pair of steps with me like you getting wrinkly and too old for the straining going to have a good look at them this weekend
