Tesco substitutes are for higher value items at no extra cost. But can be refused at the door and the driver instigates a refund. Very few substitutions are made. Today, thick sliced instead of standard loaf. And no added sugar soup.

If you refuse the substitute, then you are left with nothing unless you drive to the shop. In the past have ordered sugar free and they have given us a sugar item which we need to send back. Surely an item with sugar is not a substitute for sugar free?

Sainsbury substitute are generally for higher cost at no charge, and they are excellent if fresh stuff doesn’t have a long enough date.. But there again if it’s a BBE the dates are not normally a problem.

Asda substitutes we order bread got no Substitute lucky we had some Frozen but other stuff they do
Nescaff Skiny Coffee we did not get but got this instead Green & Black Organic Hot Chocolate i think it is fab at no extra cost

How many of you, do, as we do, and steralise our veg, everything else we wipe down with a soapy, bleach solution leave until air dried then put it away. Thats tins, packaged stuff like bacon, bottles, bars of chocolate. Etc.bagged bread gets wiped down then put in the frezzer.

Very wise. But no we don’t. Just rely on regular washing.

Our grocery delivery always stays in the freezer, fridge or dry stores cupboards for two or three days before we need to start using any of the items.
We give our hands a good wash after handling the shopping.
It's the same for letters, parcels etc;
It isn't touched for three days.

We tend to have 5-6 crates a week in our delivery all not bagged and have to be unloaded into hall. Groceries get stored away. Mail and parcels left for a couple of days. But when things are delivered we wipe door handles and wash our hands. Since the very start in 2020 we have only ever used soap bars in the house rather than the stuff from push dispensers. If out we have wipes and alcohol gel with us.

Thanks for that people, looks like we are mostly very sensible. internally I am useing , Rum. Or Westons Cider at 8.2%.

We had 4 crates on our home delivery from Asda this week everything bagged up we always buy frozen Vegetables and Mutipack Chocolate Bars everything gets a wipe down before they go into the fridge and freezer and we wash our hands letters and parcels get a wipe down before we open them usually after couple of days.
