Thank you Rusty.

As usual its the easy route that is best 'If you know it'.

As for L.B. calling me cheap I am not sure I will ever recover.I did think of seeking legal redress but the brief would not negotiate on price

Mike although you address yourself as from Norfolk have you any Welsh blood in you? This so called Lord of the Manor seems to be upsetting a lot of people of late. If you should attack Hereford from the east, I muster up my army and attack from the west I am sure we can overthrow this person and teach him a lesson.

Its funny and could have been timely, this wheez of yours. We could have another member as if my memory does not fail me a 'Lady' Maureen of the northern tribes has desided where her bread is buttered and changed sides (yet again ) but on the basis that you have to work with what you can get, she did once offer to be my 2IC in the dim and distant past when I took the oppertunity ( L.B. was at the Abbey, a sabatical I think) of planning a serfs uprising. At that time this forum just took too long to get organized and he was back before we could strike.

However back to your plan. How will you assure me that I will not only get to keep all the lands for myself. It would be bad P.R. for any land to fall into Welsh hands, not a problem, as I am sure that you only want revenge. Also I will play no part in any seaborn landing as me and coricles do not get on.

As for Welsh Blood I lived in Manober and regularly took blood on the Rugby but I do not think we ever bonded.

Maureen I am not in any way trying to incite trouble at all. All I am asking for is to get rid of this so called lord of the manner - he is worse than the Sherriff of Notingham. On that point I would like to think of us as Robin Hood and his Merry Men and you could be our MAid Marien. I will not be taking the roll of Robin as I am of the opinion from previous postings that this forum has far greater leaders than me. I will however be willing to serve on the committee to discuss tactics and go along with the majority vote.

Mo with him indoors help you could use you loose Scots/French connection and become a Joan of Ark that way you do not have to cater for male ego's and you would get to take all the blame yourself when the committee fail/let you down and the L.B's of this life become victorious again.

Yours (hedgeing his bets)

Mike

Sorry Mike, Maureen and others I have now made peace with Lord B. and have called a truce. Therefore I do not wish to now be included in this battle against a noble gentleman. Sorry if I have failed you but my conscience would worry me to my dying days.

As for you gang of ladies forming a fighting force I would surrender at the first opportunity and give you all at least an hour before asking you to leave my body alone - now that would be a nice way of dying. After you have made use of my body I would like to drown in a barrel of whisky - the only problem being I would have to get out a few times to go to the toilet.

Hi Colin,

I am pleased you would get out of the barrel for the call of nature, I know a few Scot and Irish that wouldn't, the logic being it reduces the amount of drinking time, and by the time they reach end of the barrel who cares anyway?

I make a fair amount from allowing the Welsh peasants to cross Offa's ****. I charge 2 groats per person but it can be profitable on market days when I charge the Welsh drovers 1 groat per animal :O)

Get your posts in before 5.30 pm - it's that time of the week when the site crashes. It won't bother me though because in a hours time we are off on our first outing of the year, all of 3 miles, to Lucksall Caravan Park. Two more weeks later then it's off to Carnon Downs Caravan Park in Cornwall for 9 days. We have booked 2 weeks on the Mull of Kintyre in June and if I find the area favourable I might annex it for England like I did at .
