The campsite catwalk

A frequent drawback with campsite showers is the lack of space in which to dry yourself and, particularly, the lack of hooks for your clothing. Therefore I find the most practical solution is to wear a towelling dressing gown and a pair of flip-flops.

We have seen a lot of people in toweling dressing gowns covering what we assume is nightwear and others fully dressed but not for us. Having paid for a toilet and shower on the caravan we use it although I suppose the site fees also cover the cost of the toilet block.
To us a nice warm carpeted washroom with a near full size shower is far preferable to the cold concrete or tiled floors in the toilet block.

Well although we have a shower in the van we always use the campsite services,,after all we have paid for it and it keeps our van cleaner.
I go dressed minimal,,shoes, shorts, tee shirt and hoody,,less to remove in the cubicle if hooks are missing.
We've just returned from C&CC site Scone and they are definately THE BEST showers we've yet encountered,,large, spacious 4 hooks per cubicle and clean and airy.

Except at Elm Cottage in Cheshire, where they have geothermic underfloor heating!
