The choice of Micro-wave

Thinking of purchasing a new micro-wave, Camp site supply 10amp.

What would you recommend ref. wattage. and suggested retailer.

Bob, a cheap microwave from Tesco, Argos would be ok, but do not go above 800w power.

The initial start wattage will be about twice the rated power use, so will draw about 6 amps, then settle down to about 3 amps.

With a 10 amp supply you will have to make sure no other heavy drain appliances are on at the same time, such as water heater, electric fire.
