The Firs Caravan Club Site at Belper Derbyshire

But i wanted to see anyone on this forum has been is it flat easy access to the Toilet /ShowerBlock, and is the dog walk a nice size for our two dogs. and if you had a favourite pitch you would like to go back to.
Before we book a Fully hardstanding service pitch

We stayed there in 2019 and would go back again, the serviced pitches are at the top part of the site and are close to the shower block , ours backed on to it.There are 2levels and there is quite a steep slope down to the lower level, Can't comment on the dog walk as we no longer have a dog, but do remember there are lovely views over the valley from the site.

Hi Beachball
I have checked on club site and they show a plan of the Firs, there are 20 serviced pitches, with 34,35,36,39,40,41,45,46,47,48 in the top area, all level with the shower block, hope this helps.

Hi woodsieboy Thanks for the information i have been looking at the plan .๐Ÿ‘

We stayed at the Firs about 18 months ago and agree entirely with Woodsieboy. Great site and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. Sorry we had no dog either andt cannot remember a dog walk, but site details say there is one..

Hi Ray Thanks for your information on The Firs caravan club site i too seen there is a dog walk on site๐Ÿ‘

The serviced pitches are on both levels and the club do not allow booking specific pitches. If you have special needs that require you to be near the toilet block though, you can normally speak to the site and they will reserve one for you for the date if your arrival.

Hi Ray it always nice when someone been to site and they have the information that i need Keep Safe ๐Ÿ‘

We did use the upper tier though as the weather was bad and it is more sheltered. If the weather was good the lower tier would have been nice though.

Hi Ray if the lower tier was flat it would not be problem but me getting up to the toiletblock in a wheelchair might be a problem .

It is quite steep and narrow so unless you have an electric wheel chair it could be a problem. I am sure the wardens will reserve you a space near the toilet block though if you ring them in advance, I have seen this done on several sites.
