The Gravy Train

A new high speed rail link will now shuttle our MEPs between parliaments. Because the EU has parliaments in both Brussels and Strasbourg, and they are used on a alternating monthly basis, this 187mph train will carry our 785 MEP guardians plus hundreds of aides and officials between the two cities in luxury. The chartered train will cut two hours off the normal service and cost us taxpayers £158,000 per trip.

Think of the cost and absurdity of having two parliaments in the first place let alone the cost of ferrying everyone between the two.

Great innit? Who got us into this mess?

Correct Angus but it aint going to happen mate. All we can do is hope that there is a government that comes to power that gets back some of our constitutional rights. Unfortunately that person isn't even on the horizon yet. Notice "our Dave" makes no mention of it and he will be New Labour under a different disguise. Fist of all we must get rid of the hated "human rights" charter the idiots signed up to.

Only this week figures from the Legal Services Commission show that the muslim lawyer, who came here when Amin threw Asians etc. out of Uganda, has been paid

Reading the postings above I can see a hint of UKIP and BNP favouriteism creeping in. Initially Plaid Cymru and Sin Fein were looked upon as being radical anti establishment political parties but they are now both recognised political parties - who is to know what may happen to UKIP and BNP in years to come.
