Thetford Duplex removal.Oven

Hi All. Help Please!
I need some advice on how to remove a Thetford Duplex Spinflow Grill oven
model S-0G70000 from my 6 year old Bailey Persuit 400-2 pursuit caravan.
i need to gain access to the sink waste pipe which has fallen off so just need to remove the oven out so I can get to it.
any help greatly appreciated.
I am getting now where with this. Surely someone has taken an oven out of a caravan!

Surely you can access the waste via the undersink cupboard?

Removing the oven will necessitate undoing gas fittings and then remaking them when you have finished the plumbing work. Not something that I would advise unless you are competent with gas systems, which from your post I don’t think that you are. So if it’s absolutely necessary to remove the oven to do the plumbing I would recommend that you use an AWS technician to do the work.

Hoping this doesn’t oversimplify the issue but…. Looking at models of this year for sale and if yours follows the same then the square sink is fitted with 4 screws from the top - would it be possible to remove the sink to gain access - although you would need a bit of slack in the waste pipe to reconnect it and then likely need a new seal strip to refit the sink.
Mine had started to leak recently and I found the corrugated waste hose had become loose in the ‘waste pipe sealing sleeve end’ where it pushes onto the sink waste - but fortunately in my layout I could just squeeze my hand through from the side cupboard to refit it despite having very little ‘play’ in the waste pipe itself.

Apologies, I am about to ask something that sounds like someone being a clever clogs and treating you like you’re daft. Really I’m not, just asking the obvious as it may help others: Looking at pictures of the Pursuit 400-2 The sink is over the fridge . Are you thinking that the waste pipe passes behind the cooker before exiting the van?
If you do need to get the fridge out, I think someone on here did that?? Might have been Gagakev??

Removing Dometic Fridge

Is this an easy option, looks like four screws inside, currently with protective caps on. Remove caps then screws and hopefully the fridge will slide out. The reason I have to do this is the sink is positioned above the fridge and we can't use the sink as when waste water is emptied the fridge...

No Hutch. I looked at pictures of the Pursuit 400-2 on line and the sink is over the fridge. I was just puzzled as to why the OP needed to take out the cooker to get to the waste pipe. I imagined the scenario was similar to that of Kev’s in the link that I added. But as you know, I am not technical, only logical- and really know nothing.

Hello Martin,
Your post is confusing, following Mel's post I have also Googled for images of the 2016 and 2017 Bailey Pursuit 400 2, and none of the show a sink over a separate oven. The sink is consistently over a Thetford fridge.

Can you post a picture?

The fitting instructions (and therefore the removal instructions) are in the user manual which should have been left in the caravan, but they are available on line just by googling the the make and model.

As always, with all gas appliances, do not attempt installation service, repair or removal unless you are fully competent and have the necessary equipment to test the systems as required by law.
