We are having dreadful problems with our Thetford fridge. It seems that it operates very unreliablly whether it is on gas or electric. This weekend we went to a CC site having unplugged from our domestic electriity at home, then we placed the fridge on battery for the 20 minute journey, when we hooked up to the site electricity it refused to cool. We then lit the gas operation and that didn't work either.
The van was perfectly level, it is only 15 months old and it was supplied with our brand new van November 2007. To top it all; when we flagged this up at our annual sevice in November the Discover engineers tested it and it worked so they didn't investigate the problem that we had originally identified.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and how has this been rectified?
