Thetford model mismatch?

I am resurrecting a query I raised two years ago. The toilet full light has never worked on my second-hand Pegasus GT65 Rimini since I bought it. I have looked at advice videos here and on YouTube, and all show me a photo of the end of the cassette housing with the PCB and fuse assembly clearly visible. But my caravan doesn't have this assembly. Is it missing, or does the sensor work differently?

I attach the photo from the instructions (photo 1) and what my recess looks like (photo 2). Do I have the wrong model of holding tank?

I’m not an expert but in the absence of other replies …. My impression is that the lower picture is simply a later version - the cavity shape looks the same but the bits at the back are hidden behind the panel. Mine is similar to the first picture and only let me down when the emptied cassette was wet in the rain and showed full - drying both the cassette and the exposed sensor bits restored normality!

What year was your Cavan made Martin? Thetford changed a few things especially where the flush fuse was located and possibly the float mechanism and reader.

It is a 2015 model. I found the normal magnetic sensor and circuit board behind the cover, and it worked when I tested it. But when it is assembled, no light shows up. It makes me wonder if I have an early cassette and a later caravan after Thetford made changes.

You possibly need to identify the exact model of toilet you have but not sure if it is shown anywhere but I would try the locker. Most caravans arrived with the Thetford booklet which might help if it made it to you.
