Hi can someone pls help me my fridge freezer in my sterling caravan i have a thetford n150 the problem is the fridge and freezer works on hook up the freezer works on gas but the fridge wont i have changed the thermister the master board the gas jets but the fridge still not working on gas we do a lot of rallying so gas is a must really any advice pls

It would seem that your own diagnosis of the problem has been wrong, or you may hve done something wrong. Perhaps its time to bite the bullet and call an expert?

The problems i have had have all been tryed to be fixed by my local caravan service engineer but he is now scratching his head ????

Your unit is an older model and has been superseded. Just setting the scene. It is a large tower fridge freezer.
Thetford in their wisdom installed some smart stuff which I suspect is causing your problem. It features an automatic defrost and self diagnosis, an LCD panel and a Smart Energy System (SES) . Maybe one of these electronic functions has broken down?
Rather than hit and miss spending loads of money I have to agree with the Prof your money will be better spent on a Thetford Fridge expert.

I looked at the Thetford web site but there is no help line to ring. I have to agree with the others an expert is needed. Thetford service Centres are listed on the website so I would look at the nearest one.
