Thetford problem

Can anybody help me I have a 2014 caravan with a Thetford fridge freezer open running of gas for last four days I have just come Home & switching off the gas for four hours try to put it on mains and a code is coming up with a spanner and the code is 10 can anybody help me.

Check the 240 volt fuse has not blown

I have checked the fuse there’s a code coming up with a spanner and the code is 10 .

I have checked the fuse fuse okay but there is a spanner and code 10 on display .

Code 10 refers to the 12v DC side of things, not mains operation.

It’s only happening on the mains when I try and put it on battery showing a code 8 and a spanner .

I am not surprised as the fridge will not work from the battery alone. it only works when the van is connected to the car through the right cabling and the car engine is running.

At home, tap the energy source selector button to choose the 2 pin mains connector icon on the fridge screen, then it should work. Your fridge handbook has a list of error codes - if it missing be sure to refer to the correct model fridge and these codes have changed with the fridge model numbers
