Thetford Toilet Valve Operation

Hi, has anybody either moved the Flap Valve Operating Lever on a Thetford C223 RV Toilet higher or converted it to electric Actuation.
We don't like the low location of the lever. Other toilets like the C402-c operate the flap from the Top which is a lot better.
