thetford toilet with flush supplied direct from water barrell...

mate has just bought a caravan(compass rallye gte 430/2L)the toilet has no holding tank where you fill up with water and pink solution.the toilet flushes using water direct from fresh water source.so does anybody know how the pink fluid is added or does this set up only flush with frsh water only????no pink fluid can be added
 
We had a similiar set up with a previous caravan, the water was drawn straight from the on board water tank to flush the loo, consequently no pink fluid was ever used.
 
I keep a bottle of diluted pink in the washroom and occasionally pour some into the bowl with the valve shut, then distribute it with the loo brush.
