Tilt sensor alarm problem in wind

We have an Abbey caravan with the tilt sensor alarm and it's parked at the bottom of the drive in a fairly sheltered spot. Whenever there is a bit of a breeze it sets off the alarm - which can be rather annoying to neighbours, especially in the middle of the night or when we're out! The solution would be to leave the alarm off altogether, but that's defeating the object of having one. The steadies are fully down, as is the jockey wheel, and the van doesn't rock if we push it, but surely it shouldn't go off so easy. This has happened so many times now and wondered if anyone else is having the same problem and how have you solved it.

We have never had the tilt alarm go off on the van let alone only in wind. I would sugest you have a problem with it.

The above link, shows a option that leaves the tilt alarm out.
Or the tilt position can be set up for a slope, via a lever.
