toilets

Hi All

Just returned from a nice weekend, only pity is the toilet deemed that it would suddenly make a funny noise and stop flushing.

Its a Thetford manual flush system, that need to be puleed up and pushed down to operate the flush, now the flush is about 30% of what it used to be and also its very, very easy to move the handle.

Anyone got any ideas

Hi richard i know this might sound contradicting but.. Have you got plenty of the pink stuff and water in the system? That might be the trouble

Hi

Yes we have plenty of the pink stuff, filled the system on Friday, it was about the third use of the system when it went funny.

Richard, the syphon base (basically a large rubber washer ) has parted company from the plunger rod.

Hi

Thanks for that, is it accessed by the removal of the two small screws on the top of the unit.

It does not matter where I look, there are no drawings of the internal working parts.
