Hi. Good lord, there must be some thing wrong with us.we enjoy these simple holidays, no shooting, no hunting, no polluting the environment. But best of all we enrage bigoted people like J.C. But I must say I did enjoy the show but will be a bit miffed if my license fee goes up to pay for the caravans. Can't wait for the sequel, Porta potties revenge.

Of course it was staged all the way,& why not people it seems are loosing their sense of humour,Does this mean the one's who didnt laugh are the one's who peek out of their curtains when other less knowlageable people struggle, maybe that's when they get a chance to belly laugh to themselves. Each to their own I suppose.

I thought Top Gear was hilarious - a fabulous spoof with a bunch of incompetents showing us all how not to go caravanning. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much. Lighten up, anyone who couldn't see that this was more of a comedy sketch than a serious piece of documentary. My whole family loves Top Gear, and this was one of the best features we think they've ever done. For those of you looking to watch a repeat, if you go onto the BBC website and search for Top Gear, you can watch it again online.

I laughed so much I was nearly crying at the end. That should be extended into a 2006 Version of Carry on Camping. JC would be great as Sid James.

I thought we caravanners were supposed to have a sense of humour. No one in their right minds would take any of that seriously.

Judging by some of the responses in various threads here and other forums it seems like some caravanners ARE sad *****'s who do sit in their tin tents and meditate about emptying the contents of various waste containers...

Thankfully the vast majority seem to be just normally insane...
