Touring caravan twin axle in and around lake garda

As per title we are looking to spend some time travelling to lake Garda and the surrounding areas can anyone recommend some sites with good restaurants etc etc and near a small town walking distance and lakeside location. we have travelled to France lots and we are currently here but looking for something different thanks in advance
 
We staid in a holiday cabin about 10 years ago. This was just outside Peschiera del Garda. A pleasant walk into town and to the station for a train to Verona. Our site was due to be sold off, so I cannot recommend one way or the other. But the location was really good with ferry services all round the lake close by. Many similar sites in the area. We loved it.

Hi markyboy,We stayed at Baia verde last summer,very nice.Its bottom left of the lake.Virtually all the lakeside sites are easy access to lake and paths around,restaurants are aplenty. Pitches on most of the sites aren’t exactly massive,you are crammed in a bit.
Absolutely stunning area.Enjoy
