Touring Caravan used as static insurance

Hi All.
Seem to be having problems insuring a touring caravan that I'll be living in possibly for a year or more on a small campsite. Usual Internet searches etc but as soon as non-leisure is mentioned it goes no further.
Can anyone advise?

Your best bet is speaking to a real live person, if you can. Automated quote systems are good for churning out standard quotations, but as soon as you introduce a "non standard" element, they default to "Not Acceptable".

The cover is there, but because it is different from the norm companies do not show it onh their websites. As Niall says ring and explain what you want and it should be available.

Thanks. I've almost given up after spending way too many hours searching and calling direct.

All I can do is make it as secure as possible and hope for the best, which isn't a great solution.

Didn't realise this would be such an issue - insurance companies turning away business for something that isn't going to be towed which will minimise risk!
