Tow Ball

Hi all my sister has a caravan on site, that she wants me to tow home for her as she no longer has a tow car, I tow my van that has the Alko hitch and stabeliser with friction pads, hers has the old type Alko hitch, whats the best way to tow this home without messing up my tow ball too much?

any suggestions please

The best thing to do is as to buy an aerosol can of Brake & Clutch cleaner and take it with you along with some lint free cloth.

Your sisters caravan hitch will probably have grease inside so when you have finished and unhitched clean your towball thoroughly before replacing the cover.

The brake cleaner will remove any greasy residue.
