Tow Car For Elddis Avante 524

Hi

I have a 2002 elddis avante 524 my current tow car is a suzuki grand vitara 2.0 petrol i am thinking of changing this for a diesel estate car can anyone recommend one that would be a good match i was thinking maybe of peugeot 407sw or a mondeo

I tow a 2007 Avante 524 with a Passat 140TDI estate and its a doddle.

An earlier 130TDI will also do it with ease.

You will no doubt get a groundswell of support from Mondeo owners, (not my cup of Earl Grey, but a lot of car secondhand due to the initial depreciation), but the Pug doesn`t seem so popular, due i believe to very restricted noseweight issues.

Quite a few decent choices in this class really, and not many duffers.
