Towbar Advice

Hello
I am a brand newbie & seek your advice.
I am planning to start caravanning this summer & will be starting by having a towbar fitted to my Vauxhall Zafira.
We hope to use it for mostly weekends & hope to buy a 2nd hand 2 berth caravan soon & am looking at what types would best suit our needs & limited budget.
Could anyone recommend the best type of towbar to go for & a fitter in the Essex area?

What part of Essex do you live in ?
We live in Frinton on Sea and used a local mobile fitter who fitted our Witter tow bar
If you go on line to the Witter site and enter your registration number it will show you a suitable tow bar and cost. It will also show details of local dealers and mobile fitters.

Hello J, Welcome to the world of caravanning. Getting a tow bar fitted should not be a problem, but don't forget you also need the towing electrics, so do check with your fitter. You mention your using a Zafira, but you don't tell us which year and model. Some models of the Zafira have a surprisingly low tow load capacity so do check what yours can tow. Also do check your driving licence categories cover you for the outfit your considering.
