hi

can anyone please tell me what the best product i can use to remove the protective coating on my towball,i am told this is the cause of a loud moaning/groaning sound when i tow.

any help woukd be great.

But in summary, 200 grade emery paper works fine.

Hi Lee

You might have to replace the friction pads in the hitch.They might be soiled with the protective coating.
