Just check out Caravan Club and Camping & Caravaning Club web sites. Both do excellent 1 day courses which even if you have towed before or a novice offer expert tuition for a very reasonable fee. Also most insurers will offer further discount on proof of attending course.

I did a towing and manoeuvring course with them and found it to be excellent and good value. Plenty of both manoeuvring and on road driving instruction.
we did a course with CC at Ruthin (North Wales - not far from Chester). We took our own car/van (as our Senator is bigger than the Baileys used by the Club) - well worth the money.
