Towing Mirrors on 4x4 Nissan

Hi I have a Nissan Terrano Mk4 2003 and the mirrors fold in at 60 mph or in windy conditions we tour in France and have to date used duck tape to stop this happing, not ideal but works. Nissan say I will have to replace them. Does any one have any suggestions? We have tried a couple of different types as well

We Don't Like the Idea of Wing mounted mirrors either.
 
Try rotating the mirror around on it pivot points whilst applying engineers "Loctite" STUDLOCK until it works it way into the ratation point. I used it on plastic tow mirrors when it worked its way in and dried they remained in place fine.
