Towing Mirrors

Hi All I am new to the caravan scene, I had my first trip out last week to Lickpenny in Derbyshire, and I have to say it was fantastic, the only part I did not enjoy was Towing it felt very strange, partly because I could not see behind me, I suspect!

I would like to know what are the best towing mirrors to get I have a swift challenger 5 birth and an X5 I would be greatfull for some advice.

Milenco Aero or Grand Aero are very popular - we have the Aero and are perfectly happy with them; the Grand Aero are bigger.

I have heard on the grapevine that clip-on rearview mirrors will be compulsory from November this year, EU regulations! and to accompany this if the correct type are not fitted or none are fitted and you are stopped by the police, you may find three pionts on your driving licence. Does anyone know if this is fact or just rumour?
